Come Join Yanling for A Fun Energy Charged Trip to China!

 July 20 - August 8, 2004

For seven days you will stay in a Tibetan village listening to the river singing and watching Tibetan performances.

This place is in Gansu Province, which is next to Tibet so you will experience Tibetan culture without going to Tibet.

You will practice in spiritually charged spots where many ancient sages have obtained enlightenment.

Only in this place in the whole world can you see the rare, white yak who live here.  You will eat delicious meals including pure organic yak butter and yogurt.

On the way to Beijing you will visit Xian where you will view the famous Terracotta army.

You will join me in the beautiful Black Dragon Valley, to enjoy Northern peasant style folk arts, local food and visit the Great Wall remains that have not been exposed to many tours.

You will learn the true essence of qigong with practices that are guided by great masters.

Fun Journey Toward Purifying the Heart

The student will receive guidance which cannot be found in bookstores that will benefit the rest of his/her life and health. Our teachers are humble yet well-known, well-respected masters. They both have explored the truth of life.

Yanling chose the teachers not simply from their revealed certain high paranormal powers, but who are well-educated and erudite. Her selection is based on her many years of research and personal experience. Both the teachers have written books.

The Teachers

Tibetan Rinpoche Duoshi Dongzhouningge

In his books Rinpoche Duoshi defines Buddhism in modern science well. He has been invited to different countries and once  to Los Angeles to teach Buddhist practice in 1998. He is always surrounded by students who come from all over China.

Rinpoche Duoshi was born in 1936 in a small Tibetan village. When he was five years old he was chosen by Rinpoche Ouqu, who was the Great Sutracarya of the Tenth Panchen, as the Fifth reincarnated Rinpoche and the Chief of Duoshi Monastery.

At the age of nine Duoshi officially became the Chief of Duoshi Monastery. At the age of sixteen he became the main Sutracarya of Tian Tang Monastery.

In his childhood and early youth Rinpoche Duoshi studied with several important and well known Tibetan Buddhist top teachers. He has achieved mastery through a comprehensive study and practice of various Tibetan Buddhist schools.

Rinpoche Duoshi has written numerous highly valued books on defining Tibetan Buddhism and Buddhism such as "Wisdom Breaks Out of A Loving Heart". He is well known for teaching the true Buddhism. He considers Buddhism the science relating humans to the universe and commented, "An awakened person is a Buddha." He teaches not simply about present life but how to take our own destiny of liberating ourselves into our own hands. He will teach us how to increase wisdom and ensure that we are on the correct path to Dao. He will be able to answer any questions you have.

Even though he is a highly achieved master, Rinpoche Duoshi always appears as an ordinary man. In the following I include some phenomena about him witnessed by crowds and people I have met. For example in July,1998, when he was laying an offering in a ceremony, the public saw two suns appear in the sky. When he was visiting the Haimu cave in August, flowers showered from the sky for almost a minute (the scene recorded in many ancient books that happened to only those sages who attained Dao.). Whenever a mentally ill person was near Rinpoche Duoshi the patient would become calm again. In July 1994 when one of Duoshi's teachers, Rinpoche Gongtang, was lecturing to 500 people, a huge rainbow appeared in the sky for a long time. There are many more happenings that Rinpoche Duoshi does not want his students to tell. Rinpoche Duoshi cares about and always helps people.

Dr. Chen, Fuyin

I've known Dr. Chen since 1997. Dr. Chen understands western educated students well because he is a scientist and has taught foreign students. He was invited to teach workshops in ten cities in the United States in 1997. He has studied Dao and the life sciences (which includes traditional Chinese culture, medicine, qigong science and human body science) for over twenty years. In China he has been invited to lecture and teach in different cities. He teaches the study of Dao, and the relationships between Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism. Dr. Chen was one of the founders of the first Chinese National Qigong and Human Science Associations. He has achieved highly in his life journey, now he is dedicating himself to educating people in the value of Dao.

Dr. Chen will teach how to coordinate qigong and spiritual connection with Dao. This will include:

1. The long human history and the consistent nature of Dao and how the nature of Dao adapts to the different periods of history and modern times.

2. The present instructive meaning and value of Daoism in the global world.

3. How to seek and cultivate Dao in the modern world and speed up becoming enlightened.

4. How to find self and find one's own path; how to gain freedom in your personal life journey and explore personal value.

I will help each individual in learning whenever they need me.

She has finished four books on qigong (three by YMAA Publication Center, one by the Qigong Association of America) and twelve volumes on herbal foods, Qi Energy in Foods for Living (Fruits&Nuts by 1stBookLibrary; The Vegetables (eBook by QAA). Yanling will be with you the entire trip providing you with training and advice from her broad understanding of Chinese culture and qigong.

This workshop/trip has these basic concepts:

  1. Readiness to practice and learn from the great teachers who define Buddhism and Daoism (Taoism) in terms of modern science. They teach profound life science in simple language based on their own experience and achievements.
  2. In "undeveloped" West China we will stay in a Tibetan village in a stunning mountain range. Our class is located in the quiet, beautiful mountains with fresh air and unpolluted water. There is a well-known Tibetan Buddhist monastery, Tian Tang Ci, at 2,000 meters above sea level. The history of this monastery can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. It was once one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in north China. This is a location which has been a wellspring for enlightened souls. We'll practice & visit spiritually charged spots to develop our energy and spirits.

We will visit the largest statue in the world of Tsongkapa (1357-1419). Tsongkapa was the founder of the Tibetan Buddhist School, Gelugpa and the first abbot of Ganden Monastery. He is respected as The Buddha Number Two. His two important disciples were chosen as the first Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama after they passed away. Tsongkapa was considered Wenshu (Manjusi) incarnate (who was the Buddha of Wisdom & power).

3. The other class in Beijing, is also in the beautiful mountains in a suburb of Beijing -- the Black Dragon Valley (as the photo shows). The Great Wall ruins are near our hotel.

4. In Beijing we'll visit some of the famous cultural monuments such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the White Cloud Daoist Monastery.

5.  Meals for optimal body weight and health. If you are overweight, you may experience a weight loss during this trip. In West China we will enjoy Tibetan, Mongolian style meals, organic diary products made from the milk of the rare yaks that only live in this high land. We'll enjoy some wild vegetables, too! We will stay in a clean, Tibetan style hotel.

In Beijing we'll sample great food and eat a special Chinese vegetarian feast, and you can shop!

6. A plus to this trip is that we will also visit Xian City, where we will view the famous Terracotta army.
